Ingredients *Full fat milk...1 litre *Sugar... 8 tsp *Custard powder... 1 tbspn *Milk....3 tbsp for mixing custard powder. *Saffron threads... a big pinch *Green cardamom powder... 1/4 tsp Method *Boil milk in a thick based pan on a low flame, stirring occasionally. Boil milk till it becomes half. *Add sugar and saffron threads. Cook till sugar dissolves. *Mix custard powder in 3 tbspn milk without forming lumps. Milk should be of normal room temperature. *Add this custard powder milk in the milk on the gas. Stirr continuously else it will stuck to the bottom. It will cook and thicken within 3-4 minutes. *Switch off the gas. *Let it cool on normal room temperature.
