Same quantity of un soaked dal If dal is 3/4 cup...water should be 3/4 th cup For tadka *Oil...2 tbspn *Mustard seeds... 1/2 tsp *Jeera... 1/2 tsp *Asafoetida powder/ Hing...1/4 tsp *Turmeric ...a pinch (optional) *Green chillies... 4-5(optional) For garnish... *Chopped coriander...1 tbspn *Grated coconut... 1 tbspn Method *Wash and soak both the dal together for 2.5 hours. *Measure the water. Ingredients... *Spinach finely chopped... 2 cups *Green Methi/Fenugreek leaves... finely chopped... 3 cups *Sweet Corn kernels ...1 cup *Oil... 2 tablespoon *Turmeric powder... 1/4 tsp *Red Chilly Powder ... 1 tsp *Salt...1tsp chopped *Onions chopped... one cup *Mustard seeds.. 1/4 th tsp * Lemon juice...2 tsp Method *Heat Oil in a pan , add Mustard seeds and after it splutters add Onion and Turmeric &Red Chilli Powder. *Saute for 2 minutes add Spinach and Methi leaves , saute on medium flame for 3 minutes. *Now add Sweet Corn kernels and Salt, mix properly and cook till water is fully absorbed. *Add Lemon juice and mix properly. *Goes very well with Dal Rice, or Roti *Even you can add it in Sandwich
