मेथी चे थालीपीठ
बरेच वेळा थालीपीठ खायची इच्छा होते.
पण घरात भाजणी नसते अशा वेळेला हे खालील मिश्र पीठ वापरून केलेले थालीपीठ खूप कुरकुरीत होते व सुंदर आणि चवदार लागते.
मेथी व कांद्याचा खमंग सुवास घरभर दरवळतो... थालीपीठ चवदार लागते
पाहू या मिश्र पीठाने केलेले थालीपीठ..
*बाजरी पीठ... एक वाटी
*मका पीठ... एक वाटी
*बेसन ...अर्धी वाटी
*चिरलेली मेथी.. दोन वाटी   
*चिरलेला कांदा ...एक वाटी
*हिरव्या मिरच्या चिरून ...तीन
*तिखट ...दीड टीस्पून
*मीठ ... दिड टीस्पून
*चिमूटभर‌ ओवा
*हळद ...पाव टी स्पून
*तीळ... दोन टीस्पून
कृती...
*सगळे साहित्य एकत्र  करून पाण्याने भिजवणे.
*भाकरीच्या पीठ सारखं सैल हवे.. तव्यावर तेल पसरवून हाताने थालीपीठ पाण्याच्या हाताने थापून घ्या.
*थालीपीठात चार पाच भोक पाडून त्या मध्ये तेल घालून व बाजूला पण तेल सोडून , झाकण ठेवून एका बाजूने कुरकुरीत भाजून दुसऱ्या बाजूने
*झाकण न ठेवता कुरकुरीत लाल करून घ्या. आपले खमंग थालीपीठ तयार आहे..

*Wood Apple pulp... 1 Cup
*Grated Jaggery...3/4 the Cup
*Red Chilli Powder...2 tsp
*Salt... 1 tsp
*Cumin seeds...1/2 tsp
Method...
*Mix  all ingredients together.
*Grind from the mixer without adding water.
*Tasty ,Tangy n flavour full Chutney is ready.
*Remains fresh for 2..3 days.
*You can refrigerate it for longer shelf life.

कवठाची चटणी
आजकाल कवठं फारशी  मिळत नाही. पण तरी मी वर्षातुन दोन..तिनदा तरी आणायचा प्रयत्न करते. कवठ औषधी पण आहे.
कच्चे कवुठ चवीला तुरट व आंबट असते. पिकलेले कवुठ आंबट असते पण त्याला छान सुगंध येतो व चवदार लागते. कवठाची चटणी व पंचामृत फारच सुंदर लागते.

It is not only used for garnishing but we prepare various tasty delicacies also.
It has medicinal values as well as one of the superfood.
Today I have prepared Crispy, tasty

Ingredients...
*Coriander finely chopped...6 Cups
*Chakali Bhajani...3 Cups
*Red Chilli Powder...3 TSP
*Salt...3 TSP
*Chilly Garlic paste... 2 tsp
*Termeric Powder...1/4 tsp
*Seasame seeds...3 tsp
Method...
*Wash and chopp the Coriander.
*Mix all the ingredients except Seasame seeds.
*Make a dough using minimum water, dough should be soft such that you should be able to spread with hands.
Or You can make a Roll.
*Grease the plate with Oil, spread the Dough evenly by hands.
*Spread Seasame seeds over it, press it with gentle hands.
*Steam this plate in a preheated steamer for 15 minutes.

Chakali is prepared in every household of Maharashtra.
Every one has there own Recipe and method of preparation.
Chakali should be crispy 😋 and full of flavour.

For Bhajani...
*Rice...1kg
*Split Chickpea Dal..1/2kg
*Split Black Gram Dal...250 grams
*Coriander seeds...1/2 cup
*Cumin seeds...1/4 Cup
Method for Bhajani...
*Wash Rice and both the Dal separately.
*Sun dry the Dal, Rice should be dried in home only.
*Roast all the ingredients seperately on low flame.
*The correct way of roasting is , while roasting take some grains in your hands, if they are too hot to hold, it is done.
*Roast Coriander Seeds n Cumin seeds for 2..3 minutes only.
*Let it cool, grind it from the flour mill.
*You can use this flour in other Recipes too.
*It has a shelf life of 3 months in dry weather conditions.

*एक वाटी काळा हरभरा
*तेल...2 टिस्पून
*मीठ ...अर्धा टीस्पून
*कढीपत्ता... दहा-बारा
*लाल सुक्या मिरच्या ...दोन
*हिंग... चिमूटभर
*हळद... चिमूटभर
*लिंबाचा रस...एक टीस्पून
कृती...
*हरभरा रात्रभर भिजत घालून ठेवा.
*सकाळी तीन वाट्या पाणी घालून कुकरमध्ये दोन शिट्या देऊन शिजवून घ्या.
*गार झाल्यावर हरभरे बाजूला ठेवा,उरलेले दाट काळसर पाणी असेल त्याच्यात अर्धी वाटी साधे पाणी घाला.
*पातेल्यात तेलाची फोडणी करून मोहरी व हिंग घालून खमंग फोडणी करा.
*चिमूटभर हळद, लाल सुक्या मिरच्या, व कढीपत्ता पाने घाला.
*वरील हरभऱ्याचे उकडलेले पाणी घालून छान उकळी येऊ द्या. लिंबाचा रस घाला.
*गरम-गरम कढण प्यायला द्या.
*अगदी 5 स्टार मधील क्लिअर सुप पेक्षाही जास्त चवदार वऔषधी आहे.

हा एक दाक्षिणात्य कडधान्याची उसळीचा असा प्रकार आहे.
 तेल व फारसे मसाले नसले तरीही अतिशय चवदार लागतं आणि पौष्टिक पण आहे.
संध्याकाळी चार वाजता चहा सोबत पण खायला सुंदर लागते.
दाक्षिणात्य  लोक नवरात्रात प्रसाद म्हणून वेगळ्या प्रकारचे सुंदल करतात.
बघूया कसे करायचे सुंदल
साहित्य
*चवळी ...अर्धी वाटी
*छोले अर्धी वाटी
*ओल्या खोबऱ्याचा कीस... अर्धी वाटी
*खोबरेल तेल... एक टेबलस्पून
*लाल  सुक्या मिरच्या ..दोन ते तीन
*मोहरी... पाव टीस्पून
*कढीपत्त्याची पाने ... दहा-बारा
*हिंग.. पाव टीस्पून
*मीठ .. एक टीस्पून
*लिंबूरस ...दोन टीस्पून
*साखर... अर्धा टी स्पून
कृती...
*चवळी व छोले वेगवेगळे पाच-सहा तासासाठी पाण्यात भिजत घाला
*कुकरमध्ये दोन्ही एकत्र करून गॅसवर एक शिट्टी आणि नंतर सिमवर 5 ते 6 मिनिटं वाफवून घ्या. छोले व चवळीची शिजवताना पाणी हे दोन्ही बुडतील एवढे घालावे.
*एका कढईत खोबरेल तेल गरम झाले कि मोहरी घाला, व मोहरी तडतडल्यावर हिंग, कढीपत्ता ,लाल मिरच्या व शिजवून घेतलेले कडधान्य घालावे.
*मीठ व साखर घालून तीन-चार मिनिटे परतावे. *गॅस बंद करून खोबरे व लिंबूरस घालून एकत्र…

This Kadhi goes very well with Khichdi or any Rice preparation.
Very tasty and yummy preperation😋😋
You can drink, one Bowl as a Meal between Meal.
Ingredients
*Tomato...6
*Curd...1/2 Cup
*Chickpea flour...1/2 Cup
*Garlic...4 pods
*Grated Ginger...1 TSP
*Green Chillies...2
*Curry leaves...12
*Oil/Ghee...3 tsp
*Cumin seeds...1/2 tsp
*Asafoetida Powder...a pinch
*Salt...1 tsp
*Sugar...2 tsp
Method...
* Chopp the Tomatoes, put it in one Steel Pot. Cover with the lid, steam on the Gas stove for five minutes without adding any Water.
*Let the Tomatoes cool.
* Now  grind from the Mixer steamed Tomatoes, Curd, Chickpea flour, Grated Ginger, Garlic by adding one Cup water.
* Now in another Pan heat Ghee, add Cumin Seeds, after it splutters add Asafoetida Powder, chopped Chillies and Curry leaves.
*Immediately pour the  grinded Tomato mix. Mix properly.
*Let it boil for 4..5 minutes.
*Done... goes very well with any Rice preparation.

This is the quick method to prepare Appe. Healthy too...it contains Protein, Carbohydrates n lots of Veggies besides Curd.
I was having sour Curd, so this Yummmm Breakfast for today.

घरी आणल्या बरोबर पटकन चिरून सुंदर आमटी केली .
गरमगरम भात त्यावर साजूक तूप, आमटी... आहाहा इतकं सुंदर लागले 😋😋

*शेवग्याच्या शेंगांचे दोन तीन इंच लांबीचे तुकडे करावे. थोडेसे सालं काढून घ्यावे.
*शेंगांचे तुकडे मावतील तेवढे पाणी घालून एका भांड्यात झाकण ठेवून पाच मिनिटे शिजू द्यावे. *शेंगा पाण्यासकट बाजूला ठेवून द्यावे.
*एका कढईत तेल तापवून मोहरी व जिरे घालावे. तडतडल्यावर  त्यानंतर हिंग व बेसन गुलाबी रंगावर परतून घ्यावे.
* मग हळद, तिखट ,गोडा मसाला, खोबरे कीस घालून परतावे.
*चिंच गुळाचा कोळ, वाफवलेल्या शेंगांचे तुकडे  व कढीपत्ता  घालून छान एकत्र करून दोन वाट्या पाणी घालून , छान उकळ…

We like to have Shrikhand with this Veg.
Ingredients. ..
*Coriander.... 500 gms.
*Chickpea flour... 2 cups.
*Oil... 3 tbspn.
*Salt ...1 tsp.
*Red Chilli Powder ...1.5  tsp.
*Termeric ...1/2 tsp.
*Poppy Seeds... 2 tsp.
*Mustard Seeds...1/2 tsp
*Cumin Seeds...1/4 tsp
*Asafoetida powder...1/4 tsp

Method. ..
*Wash Coriander  n chopp it finely. ..
*Add Oil in a pan, add Mustard n Cumin seeds , let it splutter.
*Add Termeric Powder ,Poppy Seeds, Asafoetida and chopped Coriander.
*Saute for 2..3 mts...add Red Chilli Powder  n Salt...mix properly.
*Salt will release water...add Chickpea flour...mix properly....saute n cover... let it cook for 5 mts sauting occasionally.
*Ready...
Serve with Roti or Dal Rice.

Method...
* Wash and dry the Lemons. Cut into 8 pieces each.
*Mix with 3/4 cup salt.
*Store in a  dry gGlass jar...keep it for 8..10 days shaking daily.
*Mix  Sugar n Red Chilli Powder
*Mix properly.
*Ready to eat after 2 days.

Ingredients...
*Split Pigeon Dal/Arahar or Tuvar Dal..1 Cup 1cup....200 ml
*Chopped Onions...1 Cup
*Chopped Tomatoes...1 Cup
*Drumsticks pieces 3" long..6
*Curry Leaves...1 spring
*Sambar Masala...1 tbsp
*Tamarind paste..1 tsp
*Termeric powder..1/4 tsp
*Red chilli powder...1 tsp
*Salt...1 tsp
*Oil /Ghee...2 tsp
Method...
*Wash and soak Split Pigeon Dal for 30 minutes.
*Pressure cook the dal in the cooker by adding two cups water and one fourth spoon turmeric powder.
*Let it cook for 2 pressure and then for 5 minutes on low flame.
*Let it cool and then mash properly till smooth.

Carrot Halwa, Carrot Salad ,we use it in different Vegetable combinations as well as in different Rice preparations,  Pulao, Upma etc.
Carrots is the good source of Vitamin A.
Today I have prepared Carrot Chutney which is very tasty and goes very well with Idli, Dosa, Sandwiches and in your regular meals.
Ingredients...
*Diced Carrots... 1 Cup
*Split  BlackGram  Dal ...2 tsp
*Dry Coconut grated...4 tsp
*Red Chilli Powder...2 tsp
*Lemon juice 2 tsp
*Salt...1/2 tsp
*Sugar..1/2 tsp
*Water...1/2 Cup
Method..
*Dry roast split Black Gram Dal in golden colour.
*Let it cool.
*Mix all the ingredients.
*Grind it from the mixer.
*Adjust water as per your requirement.
*You can give a tempering of 2 tsp Oil, with a 1/2 tsp Mustard and a pinch of Asafoetida.
Serve with Idli, Dosa, Sandwiches and regular meals.

There are various methods of cooking Rajma.
Here's one in which we are using Onions and Tomatoes.
Both give a nice tangy flavour to Rajma. Here I have used small Kashmiri Rajma...

Ingredients...
*Rajma/Kidney beans... 1 Cup
*Onion ...2
*Tomato...3
*Oil ...2 tb sp
*Ginger ...1 tsp
*Garlic ...4 pods
*Salt ...1 tsp
*Sugar... 1/4 tsp
*Turmeric... 1/2 tsp
*Red Chilli Powder... 1 tsp
*Coriander Seeds Powder...1tsp *Garam Masala.... 1/4 tsp
*Cream... 1/2 Cup
*Mustard Seeds...1/2 tsp
*Cumin Seeds...1/4 tsp
Method. ..
*Soak Rajma for 7..8 hrs.
*Cook in a pressure cooker by adding water just to cover Rajma...also add Salt...cook till soft but not mushy.
*Make a paste of  Onion, Ginger and   Garlic..without adding Water.
*Also grind Tomatoes from the mixer.
*Heat Oil in a pan..add Mustard n Cumin seeds, after it splutters add Onion paste.
*Saute on low flame till Oi…

Semolina Roasted Potatoes

It's a Tasty n Yummy preparation.
But not at all deep fried, still very crisp and tasty..😋😋
Can be served as a starter or side dish in regular meals.
 Ingredients. ...
*Baby potatoes... 12
*Semolina...1.5 tablespoon
*Oil ...1 tablespoon
*Salt... 1 tsp
*Red Chilli Powder... 2 tsp
*Black Pepper Powder ...1/4 tsp
*Asafoetida Powder ... 1/4 tsp
*Chat Masala...1 tsp
Method. ..
*Pressure cook the potatoes for 1  whistle. Peel off the skin.
*Add  Oil in a pan and roast the potatoes by adding Salt n Termeric.  *Let it be golden in colour and  crispy. Keep  it aside.
*Roast Semolina for 2-3 minutes and keep aside.
*In a pan add Oil, add Asafoetida,  Red Chilli Powder and Black Pepper Powder. ... Saute well on low flame. *Add  roasted Potatoes and mix well.
*Add roasted semolina and toss them.Keep on a low flame.
*Garnish with chat masala and coriander.
Done...
Serve as a starter or side dish in meals...

*Murmure/Puffed Rice ...5 Cups *Peanuts ...1/2 cup.
*Kadhi patta  /Curry leaves..1/2 cup...
*Oil ....1 tablespoon
*Turmeric...1/4 th tsp
*Salt ... 1/4 th tsp
*Mustard Seeds...1/4 th tsp
Method...
*Heat oil in the pan...add Mustard Seeds, after it splutters add Peanuts, let it be crispy by keeping the gas on low flame. Keep it aside.
*In the remaining Oil add Turmeric Powder, Curry leaves, Salt and Puffed Rice.
*Saute on  low flame till crisp.
*Add Peanuts which we have kept aside.

In Maharashtra it is called as Aaluchi Vadi..
In Southern India it is called as Pathrado...
One dish with different names n little variation.
Basic ingredient is Colocasia Leaves. These leaves are good for health, when combined with Tamarind nutrition value increases.
Ingredients...
Colocasia Leaves...10 big
*Raw Rice...1 Cup
*Split Green gram...1 Cup
*Tamarind pulp...1/2 cup
*Red Chilli Powder...2 tsp
*Salt...2 tsp
*Cumin seeds...1/2 tsp
*Termeric Powder...1/4 tsp
*Roasted Seasame seeds...2 tsp
Method...
* Wash and soak Rice and Dal for 3 hours.
*Grind it from the mixer without to a thick paste.
*Add all ingredients except Seasame seeds. Mix properly.
*Wash Colocasia Leaves,  flatten them by rolling out the rolling pin on it's back side.
*Take one leaf apply the paste on its back, now put another leave n repeat in this way  till three leafs.
*Make a tight roll, use thread to tie it.

•500 grams Onions
•2.5 tbsp Oil
•1.5 cups Chickpea flour.
•1.5 tsp salt.
•1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
•3 tsp Red Chilly Powder
•1 tsp Mustard Seeds
Method. ..
•Chopp the  Onions.
 •Heat Oil in an Iron Kadhai.
 •Add Mustard Seeds after it splutters add Termeric n  finely chopped Onions.
 •Saute them on medium heat for 5 mts.
 •Add Red Chilli Powder n Salt...saute till oil leaves the sides of the kadhai.
•Add Besan/Chickpea flour.. mix properly. ..cook by covering on low heat for 3..4 mts... stirring occasionally. ..

This Tomato accompaniment can be called as Pickle or Chutney.
Originally it is called as Khamen Asinba Thongpa in Manipur.
I have done little bit changes in the original recipe. I was in a hurry to complete my professional commitments.
So prepared this tangy flavour full dish within 15 minutes.
It tastes amazing with Dal Rice or Khichadi.
Ingredients...
*Tomatoes...4
*Oil/Ghee...1/2 tablespoon
*Nigella seeds...1/4 tsp
*Mustard Seeds...1/8 tsp
*Fenugreek seeds...12
*Red Chilli Powder...1 tsp
*Salt...1 tsp
*Asafoetida...a pinch
*Jaggery... Lemon size
*Lemon juice...1 tsp
Method...
*Wash and quarter the Tomatoes.
*Heat Oil/ Ghee in a pan, add Fenugreek , Mustard n Nigella seeds.
*After it splutters add Asafoetida powder n Tomatoes.
*Saute on medium flame for 3 minutes.
*Add Red Chilli Powder, Jaggery, & Salt , mix properly, add 1 Cup water.
*Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
*Switch off the gas, add Lemon juice.

*Heat Oil in a pan, add Fenugreek and Mustard Seeds.
*After it splutters add Asafoetida powder and diced Peru/Guavas.

*Add Termeric, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Jaggery...mix and saute for 3..4 minutes.
*Add one Cup water, let it cook till Jaggery dissolves, n it thickens to a pickle consistency.

*Maize flour...1Cup
*Wheat flour...1/4 Cup
*Salt...1/4 tsp
*Warm Water... for binding
Method...
*Mix both the flour and salt.
*Make a soft dough by using warm Water.
*Let it rest for 15 minutes.
* Divide the dough in Four parts.
*Roll out the Rotis by coating Wheat
flour.
*Cook on the Iron griddle from both the sides.
*You can make Roti using Maize flour only.  But Wheat flour helps to roll out  the Roti easily.

Lot's of Rotis of yesterday night were remaining. So I kept them immediately in the Refrigerator.
In the morning converted it into crispy Desi Ghee ke Paratha with tangy Tomatoes Pickle...
Everybody in the family likes it..
Infact there was a demand that I should prepare it in more quantity...😄
Ingredients...
*Leftover Roti...6
*Homemade Ghee...8..10 TSP
*Tomato Pickle ... for serving
Method...
*Heat the Iron Tawa/Pan.
*Place the Roti on it, immediately coat it with liquid Ghee, flip the side.
*Repeat the process on the other side too.
*Roast till Pink in colour by pressing it with spatula, on both the sides.
*Serve crispy crunchy Paratha with Tomato Pickle.
Tastes Yummmm 😋😋

Shevai also known as Vermicelli Upma is very quick to prepare.
It is very tasty n Yummmm 😋
Ingredients..
*Vermicelli/Shevai...2 Cups
*Oil...2 tbsp
*Chopped Onions...1 Cup
*Lemon juice...2 tsp
*Cashew nuts...10
*Split Black gram /Udid dal...1 tsp
*Grated Ginger...1/2 tsp
*Dry Red Chillies...4
*Mustard Seeds...1/2 tsp
*Cumin Seeds...1/4 TSP
*Salt...1.5 TSP
*Green Peas...1 Cup
Method...
*Heat oil in the pan ,deep fry cashew nuts till pink in colour, remove and keep it aside.
*In the remaining oil add Mustard  and Cumin seeds after it splutters add split black gram Dal, let it be golden pink.
*Add  broken Red Chillies, grated Ginger and chopped Onions ,saute  till little golden brown.
*Add Vermicelli n roast on low flame till golden brown.
*Add Green Peas , Salt n 2 Cups hot water, mix properly.
*Let it cook till all the water is absorbed stirring occasionally.
*Switch off the gas, add Lemon juice n fried Cashew nuts.

This is the recipe my Mother prepares in every summer.
But now a days we can get nice Purple Green Brinjals throughout the year.
They are very Tangy and since no water is used ,will last for 2..3 days..
Ingredients...
Purple Green Small Brinjals.. 250  gms...
Chopped Coriander... 1 cup
Coriander Powder..2 tablespoon
Red Chilly Powder... 2 tsp
Raw Mango /Aamchur Powder ...1 tsp
Salt ...1 tsp
Sugar... 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek Seeds Powder... 1/4 tsp Asafoetida Powder... 1/4 tsp
Oil ...2 tbsp
Method...
*Slit cross the Brinjals keeping the bottom intact.
*Mix all the ingredients except Oil. *Stuff them in Brijals...keep the left over masala aside...
*Heat the Oil in an lron kadhai, place the Brinjals carefully .
*Cook them on low flame for 3..4..minutes stirring occasionally.
*Cover with the lid n cook on low flame till soft...add leftover masala...mix n cook for 2..3 mts.
Done.
Serve with Roti, Jawar Bhakari or Dal Rice

In chilly winters a nice bowl of soup gives you not only a warmth but makes you full filling also. ..
This soup is rich in fibre and no cornflour is used for thickening.
Yet it is very thick n tasty too...
Ingrediants
*Tomatoes ...4 medium
*Onion....1 small
*Potato... ..1 medium
*Beetroot... 2 tbsp chopped
*Carrot ...1 tb sp chopped. ..
*Butter / Home made Ghee...2 tsp
*Cinnamon Powder..1/4 tsp
*Cloves Powder...1/4 tsp
*Sugar...3 tsp
*Salt...1 tsp
*Black pepper powder...1/4 tsp
Method...
*Wash Tomatoes n chopp it roughly.
*Peel the Potatoes n slice it, chopp the Onions.
*In a cooker add 2 tsp Butter, add all chopped vegetables and  cloves n cinamon powder.
*Saute, add 3 tsp Sugar, 1 tsp Salt...mix..add 1.5 cup Water.
*Give 2 pressure n cook on sim for 5 mts.
*Let it  cool. ..grind it in  the mixer.
*Add water as per your requirement.
*If you wish you can strain from the strainer. I have not strained it.
It tastes nice.

Ingredients...
*Chopped Tomatoes ....6 Medium
*Peeled Garlic pods ....20
*Oil ....6 tbspn
*Mustard Seeds... 1 tsp
*Red Chiily Powder ...3 tsp
*Salt ...2 tsp
*Fenugreek seeds Powder...1/4 tsp . *Tamarind....Gooseberry size   *Jaggery...Gooseberry size 
Method....
*Make a powder of Mustard Seeds.
*Mix Mustard powder , Chilli powder, Salt & Fenugreek seeds powder in a bowl.
*Soak the Tamarind in water n make a pulp using 1/2 cup  water.
*In a pan heat Oil...add Garlic pods...saute for 2 mts...
*Add chopped Tomatoes, mix..cover with lid n cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
*After 10 minutes , mix all the powders in a bowl in Tomato, mix properly.
*Add Tamarind pulp & Jaggery, mix properly.
*Cook till consistency of pickle .

This is a very delicate  sweet dish, supposed to be very difficult to make ,🙂
But if you will follow the following method you will find it very easy to prepare, so enjoy sweet light fluffy  karanji.
Ingredients
*All purpose flour or Maida... 1 cup *Semolina ... 1/2 cup
*Hot Ghee or Oil.. 6 teaspoons
*Salt a  pinch
*Desiccated Coconut...  1 cup *Powdered Sugar... 3/4 th Cup *Green Cardamom Powder ..1tsp
*Mix dry fruits chopped...3 teaspoon
*Pure Ghee for deep frying...1cup
Method...
*Mix all purpose Flour, Semolina n Salt.
*Add hot Ghee...and make a tight dough by using little water.
*Let it rest for 1 hour, by covering it.
*Mix dessicated coconut, sugar, green Cardamom Powder n chopped dry fruits.
*After 1 hour, process this dough from the mixture or from the food processor ,once again make a soft dough.
*Roll out a small thin puri, put 3 tsp
Coconut mix, fold it firmly.

ही शेव घरी केली आहे ,तरी अतिशय खुसखुशीत आहे .
यात आपण सोडा वा पापड खार बिलकुल वापरला नाही आहे
साहित्य...
*थंड पाणी ..एक वाटी
*तेल... एक वाटी
*ओवा आणि जिरे यांची भरड पूड... दोन टीस्पून
*लसूण पेस्ट ..एक टीस्पून
*मीठ...१.५ टीस्पून
*लाल तिखट... ३ टीस्पून
*बेसन... अंदाजे चार वाट्या
कृती
*तेल व पाणी मिक्सरमधून फेसाळ पांढरे होईपर्यंत  फेटून घ्या .
*एका भांड्यात ते पाणी काढुन त्यात ओवा जिरेपूड ,तिखट ,मीठ व लसूण पेस्ट घाला आणि मावेल तेवढे बेसन घाला.
*अंदाजे चार वाट्या बेसन मावेल.
*सेवेच्या साच्यात हे पीठ भरा.
*मध्यम आचेवर गरम तेलात तळून घ्या.
*गार झाल्यावर तुकडे करून डब्यात भरून ठेवा.
*कुरकुरीत खमंग शेव सगळ्यांनाच आवडते
*अशीच शेव लाल तिखट न घालता तीन टीस्पून हिरवी मिरची पेस्ट व बाकी सगळे साहित्य घालून करू शकता.

Idli is basically a South Indian dish. But loved by one and all.
It can be a Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch or even Party Snacks.
Eating Soft and fluffy Idlis is just a joy....🙂
Let's see today, how to make it at home.
Ingredients...
Raw Rice....3 Cups
Udad Dal...1 Cup
Beaten Rice/Poha... 1 Cup
Fenugreek seeds...1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds are optional.
Salt.. 4 tsp
Oil for greasing..5 TSP
Method...
*Wash Rice and Dal thoroughly, n soak it in water along with Poha for 5..6 hours. Add Fenugreek seeds if you wish so. I have added.
*Grind it from the mixer little coarsely.
*Consistency should be thick like Pakoda Batter, just pouring one.
*Let it ferment overnight or 7..8 hours.
*Add Salt and mix properly.
*Keep the steamer or cooker on a gas by adding water in it.
*Grease the Idli mould with Oil.
*Put 1tablespoon Idli batter in each mould.
*Place the Idli mould stand in preheated steamer or Cooker. Do not use pressure or whistle for steaming.
