#RenuRasoi  #Aluchi Vadi  #Steamed  #Colocasia #Leaf  #Snack Nowadays, during the monsoon season, very tender and small colocasia (arbi/taro) leaves are growing in my pot.  Since I had very little time today, I prepared this quick version of Aluchi Vadi.  It has the same delicious traditional taste but is much easier and faster to make. Ingredients (1 cup = 150 ml) *Washed & finely chopped colocasia (taro) leaves, – 2 cups *Tamarind – a lemon-sized piece *Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup *Rice flour – ½ cup *Red chilli powder – 3 teaspoons *Salt – 1½ teaspoons *Sugar – 1 teaspoon *Coriander powder – 3 teaspoons *Carom seeds (ajwain) – ¼ teaspoon *Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon *White sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon Method 1. Dadpe Pohe  
These pohas are very tasty and quick to make. 
 It is called Dadape Pohe because after adding and mixing all ingredients , pohe are tightly pressed with hands and keep covered for 15 minutes to infuse all the flavours in pohe .
These are made in Maharashtra.
This recipe is prepared in many different ways in every household.
 Ingredients 
 One Cup... 150 ml 
 •Thin poha ...2 Cup 
 •Chopped onion... 2 tbsp 
 •Peanuts ....one tablespoon 
 •Fresh coconut... grated ...two tablespoons 
 •Oil... two tablespoons 
 •Mustard ...1/4 tsp 
 •Metkoot... 1 tsp 
 •Red chilli powder.. 1/2 teaspoon 
 •Salt ...1/2 tsp 
 •Chopped green chillies... 1 tsp 
 •Chopped coriander... 1 tablespoon 
 •Grated Raw mango...1 Tablespoon or 
  Lemon Juice ....2 Teaspoon 
 •Sugar ...1/2 Teaspoon
 •Poha papad fried...one
 Method 
 • First, heat oil in a small pan and fry peanuts and take them aside. Then add mustard in the same oil and turn off the gas when the mustard crackles. Our tadka is ready.
 • In a wide bowl take Pohe add metkoot, sugar, salt, chilli powder, chopped green chilli,onion, coriander, fried peanuts, grated raw mango, grated coconut and mix everything well with your hands.
 •Then add your cooled tadka or oil . Mix all the ingredients well and press firmly with your hand and leave it to infused all the flavours for 15 minutes. Keep a lid on top.
 •After fifteen minutes immediately add the fried poha papad on it and serve it.
 Tip...
*Metkoot is easily available in store's in Maharashtra.
 •If you don't have poha papad, you can take any other papad just fry it. 
 •If there is no metkoot, add a lot of asafoetida in the tadka.
 • You can add chopped cucumber, or chopped tomatoes to this as a change. Sometimes you can add a little curd.

हे पोहे अतिशय चवदार लागतात व पटकन होतात. 

आपण पोहे दडपून मुरायला ठेवतो म्हणून याचे नाव दडपे पोहे असे आहे. ही रेसिपी प्रत्येक घरी वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारे केली जाऊ शकते.

साहित्य 

एक वाटी... दीडशे मिली लिटर 

•पातळ / नायलॉन पोहे ...दोन वाट्या 

•कांदा चिरून... दोन टेबलस्पून 

•शेंगदाणे ....एक टेबलस्पून 

•ओले खोबरे ...दोन टेबलस्पून 

•तेल... दोन टेबलस्पून 

•मोहरी ...पाव टीस्पून 

•मेतकूट... एक टीस्पून 

•तिखट... अर्धा टी स्पून 

•मीठ ...अर्धा टीस्पून 

•हिरवी मिरची चिरून... एक टीस्पून 

•कोथिंबीर चिरून... एक टेबलस्पून 

•किसलेली कैरी एक टेबलस्पून किंवा लिंबू रस दोन टीस्पून •साखर ...अर्धा टी स्पून

•पोह्याचा पापड तळून...एक

कृती...

•प्रथम एका छोट्या कढ‌ईत तेल तापवून शेंगदाणे खमंग तळून घ्यावेत व बाजूला काढावेत .नंतर त्याच तेलात मोहरी घालून मोहरी तडतडल्यावर गॅस बंद करावा. ही आपली फोडणी तयार झाली. 

•एका पसरट भांड्यात पातळ पोहे त्याच्यावर मेतकूट, साखर, मीठ ,तिखट ,मिरचीचे तुकडे , चिरलेला कांदा व कोथिंबीर, तळलेले शेंगदाणे, किसलेली कैरी ,खोबऱ्याचा कीस, सगळे घालून घ्यावे व छान कालवावे. 



•नंतर त्यात आपले गार झालेली तेलाचे फोडणी घालून पुन्हा एकदा छान कालवून हाताने घट्ट दडपून/दाबून 15 मिनिटे मुरायला ठेवून द्यावे. वरतून झाकण ठेवावे.

•पंधरा मिनिटांनंतर लगेच त्याच्यावर तळलेला पोह्याचा पापड तुकडे करून घालावा व सर्व्ह करावे.

टिप...

•पोह्याचा पापड नसेल तर दुसरा कोणताही पापड घेऊ शकता फक्त तळून घ्यावा. 

•मेतकूट नसेल तर फोडणीत भरपूर हिंग घालावा.

•यामध्ये तुम्ही बदल म्हणून चिरलेली काकडी, किंवा चिरलेले टमाटे घालू शकता. कधी थोडेसे दही पण घालू शकता.
