It cures indigestion as well as it helps to increase appetite.  Very tasty and easy to prepare. You can get these vegetables  in the local market in rainy season. In some areas this veg is also called as "गुनगुण्याची भाजी" Ingredients  1 Cup...150 ml *Patur Veg... finely chopped...3 cups *Yellow moong dal... 1/2 Cup  *Garlic pods... 6 *Oil... 4 tbspn  *Mustard seeds... 1/2 tsp  *Turmeric powder... 1/2 tsp *Red chilli powder... 1/2 tsp  *Salt... 1/2 tsp  *Lemon juice... 1 tsp  *Chopped coriander... 1 tbspn  *Grated coconut... 1 tbspn  Method... *Wash and soak yellow moong dal in sufficient water for 2 hours. *Here I have taken 2 bundle s of Patur Veg. Clean and take leaves only. Wash it thoroughly and chop finely.

This poli is very tasty and delicious😋😋😋😋
In Maharashtra we prepare this sweet Roti on every year's Sankranti festival.
It's a traditional Recipe. In every household it will prepared and relished by all.
This sweet Roti is very convenient to carry while travelling, for trekking ,can be taken with you even while travelling to abroad.  They lasts  for 10 ... 12 days comfortably.
These are nutritious and energizing.
For Roti
*Whole wheat flour... 2 Cup
One cup ... 150 ml
*Oil ... 4 tablespoons
* Salt ... a pinch
Method ....
Combine all the ingredients for the dough,add  water gradually and  make the dough. It should be harder like Puri dough. Cover and let it rest for at least an hour.
For the stuffing
* Roasted sesame seeds powder... 1 cup
*Dry roasted Chick pea flour... 1 tbsp
*Grated jaggery ... 1.5 cups
For roasting Roti
Home made Ghee...melted ... 1/2 cup
* Combine all the ingredients for the stuffing.  Mix well.  If you like, add cardamom powder, but original flavour of sesame and jaggery tastes better.
* Take a little bigger size dough than lemon, roll like Puri, avoid using flour for rolling. Use minimum if necessary.
Put 2 tablespoon jaggery mix, seal carefully from all the sides.
Roll out the Roti of 5...6" diameter with gentle hands.
* Heat the tawa, put this rolled roti & dry roast on low flame from both sides .
Then Roast by applying ghee from both the sides till  pink. 
All this process should be done over low flame.
* Nice  crispy sweet jaggery Roti is ready. Will last for ten to twelve days.

गुळाची पोळी‌

ही पोळी अतिशय अप्रतिम व स्वादिष्ट लागते 😋😋😋😋

लांब पल्ल्याच्या प्रवासात, ट्रेकिंग ला जाणारे गिर्यारोहक, अगदी परदेशात सुद्धा सोबत घेऊन जाऊ शकतो. 10...12 दिवस आरामात टिकतात.

ही पोळी पौष्टिक व उर्जा देणारी आहे.

या पोळी चे वरील आवरण फक्त कणकेचे आहे. आम्ही गुळाची पोळी दोन्ही बाजूने शेकून झाल्यावर, साजूक तुपात तळतो... त्यामुळे वरतून तुप नसले तरी चालते खुप खमंग लागते...

*कणीक 2 वाटी

एक वाटी... 150 मिली

*तेल... मोहन म्हणुन... 4 टेबलस्पून 

*मीठ ... चिमुटभर


आवरणासाठी चे सर्व साहित्य एकत्र करून कमीत कमी पाणी घालून घट्ट कणिक भिजवावी. व कमीत कमी एक तास तरी मुरू द्या. हे झाले वरील आवरण. 

आतील सारणासाठी... 

*भाजलेल्या तिळाची पूड...1 वाटी 

*बेसन कोरडेच भाजून... 1 टेबल स्पून 

*किसलेला गूळ... 1.5 वाटी

पोळी तव्यावर शेकण्यासाठी

साजूक पातळ तूप...1/2 वाटी


*सारणासाठी चे सर्व साहित्य एकत्र करावे. छान मिसळून घ्या. आवडत असल्यास वेलदोडे पूड घालावी पण तिळ गुळाची खमंग चव छान लागते. 

*भिजलेली कणीक कमीत कमी एक तास तरी मुरू द्यावे मग लिंबू पेक्षा थोडा मोठा गोळा घेऊन पुरी लाटावी त्यात 2 टेबलस्पून सारण घालून चारी बाजूंनी बंद करून हलक्या हाताने पाच  सहा इंचाची पोळी लाटावी. लाटताना गरज वाटली तरच पिठी लावून लाटा.

*प्रथम तव्यावर मंद आचेवर दोन्ही बाजूने भाजून घ्यावे व नंतर साजूक तूप सोडून गुलाबी शेकून घ्यावे. ही सर्व कृती मंद आचेवर च करा.

*पापडा सारख्या छान कडक खुसखुशीत पोळ्या होतात व दहा बारा दिवस टिकतात.
