#RenuRasoi  #Aluchi Vadi  #Steamed  #Colocasia #Leaf  #Snack Nowadays, during the monsoon season, very tender and small colocasia (arbi/taro) leaves are growing in my pot.  Since I had very little time today, I prepared this quick version of Aluchi Vadi.  It has the same delicious traditional taste but is much easier and faster to make. Ingredients (1 cup = 150 ml) *Washed & finely chopped colocasia (taro) leaves, – 2 cups *Tamarind – a lemon-sized piece *Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup *Rice flour – ½ cup *Red chilli powder – 3 teaspoons *Salt – 1½ teaspoons *Sugar – 1 teaspoon *Coriander powder – 3 teaspoons *Carom seeds (ajwain) – ¼ teaspoon *Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon *White sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon Method 1. Appe also known as Paniyaram.
Very yummy n healthy 😋
Easy to prepare with full of flavours....
A nice combination of Carbs n Proteins.
Added Beetroot to make it  healthy as well as colourful. Beetroot are very healthy and should be consumed on regular basis.
Ingredients...
*Semolina...1 Cup
*Split Yellow Moong Dal...1 Cup
*Sour Curd...1/2 Cup
*Water...2 Cups
*Chopped Onion...1 Cup
*Green Chillies chopped...3
*Grated Ginger...1/2 tsp
*Black Pepper Powder...1/2 tsp
*Salt...2 tsp
*Fennel seeds...1/2 tsp
*Chopped Coriander...1 tbsp
*Grated Beetroot...1 tbsp
*Coconut Oil...1/2 Cup
Method...
*Grind Moong Dal from the Mixer.
*Mix Semolina, Moong Dal powder, Curd by adding water slowly. Take care that lumps should not be form.
Keep it aside for one-hour. Add little more water if required.
*After one hour add all except Beetroot and Oil
*Mix properly, divide the batter in two parts, add grated Beetroot in one part, mix properly.
*Heat Appe pan, add 1/4 tsp Oil, let it heat add spoonful of batter, drizzle with Oil and cover with a lid.
*After 2 minutes check, flip with the help of Knife, cook on another side also.
*Same way cook the Beetroot batter Appe also.
*Pink n Green Masala Appe are ready.
*Serve hot with Tea or Coffee.
*No seperate Chutney is required.

आप्पे हा एक उत्तम नाश्त्याचा प्रकार आहे
वडे आणि भजी ह्यांच्यापेक्षा कमी तेलकट, पण खूप सुंदर व कुरकुरीत लागतात.
आज मी जे मसाले घातले आहे , त्यामुळे ते अतिशय स्वादिष्ट झाले आहेत.
त्याच्यात आपण रंग व  पौष्टिक पणासाठी बिट पण घातले आहे. बिट आपण नियमित सेवन केले पाहिजे...व तेही चवदार पदार्थ करून...
साहित्य...
*रवा... एक वाटी
*पिवळी मुग डाळ... एक वाटी
*आंबट दही...1/2वाटी
*पाणी...2 वाट्या
*कांदा चिरून... एक वाटी
*हिरवी मिरची चिरून...तिन
*आले किसलेले...1/2 टीस्पून
*मिरेपूड...1/2 टीस्पून
*मीठ...2 टीस्पून
*शोप...1/2 टीस्पून
*कोथिंबीर चिरून... एक टेबलस्पून
*बिट किसून.. एक टेबलस्पून
*खोबरेल तेल...1/2 वाटी
कृती...
*मुगाची डाळ मिक्सरमधून कोरडीच वाटुन घ्या. थोडं जाडसर राहीले तरी चालेल.
*रवा, मुग डाळ पीठ, दही, मीठ व पाणी नीट कालवून एक तास भिजवून ठेवा. जरूर वाटल्यास थोडे पाणी घालावे.
*एक तासानंतर त्यात बीट व तेल सोडून बाकी सर्व साहित्य घालून हाताने छान पैकी एकजीव करून घ्यावे.
* ह्या मिश्रणाचे दोन भाग करून एका भागात बिटाचा किस घालून एकत्र करावे.
*आप्पे पात्र मंद गॅसवर तापवून त्यात 1/4 चमचा तेल घालून गरम करावे, एक एक छोटा चमचा पीठ घालून झाकण ठेवून, दोन मिनिटांनी खालील बाजु पलटवुन दुसऱ्या बाजूने पण गुलाबी रंगावर भाजून घ्या.
*अशाच प्रकारे बिटाच्या पीठाचे पण आप्पे करून घ्या.
*गुलाबी व हिरवा मसाल्याचे आप्पे तयार.
*गरम गरम आप्पे सर्व्ह करा.
*वेगळ्या चटणी ची गरज नाही.
