Ingredients *Yellow moong dal...5 tbspn *Chana dal... 5 tbspn *Eno fruit salt...1 tsp *Cumin seeds...1/2 tsp  *Salt...1.5 tsp *Lemon juice... 1 tbspn *Oil...2 tbspn  *Garlic pods..6 *Grated ginger...1.5 tsp *Water... Same quantity of un soaked dal If dal is 3/4 cup...water should be 3/4 th cup  For tadka *Oil...2 tbspn *Mustard seeds... 1/2 tsp *Jeera... 1/2 tsp *Asafoetida powder/ Hing...1/4 tsp *Turmeric ...a pinch (optional) *Green chillies... 4-5(optional) For garnish... *Chopped coriander...1 tbspn *Grated coconut... 1 tbspn Method  *Wash and soak both the dal together for 2.5 hours. *Measure the water. Appe also known as Appo, Paniyaram.
These mildly sweet Appe with Banana and Coconut are crispy, tasty and easy to make.
Made from easily available items at home.
Can be used as a offering to God, for Tiffins, as a Sweet Dish...
I have learnt this Recipe from my friend Vinaya Prabhu...
Ingredients...
*Semolina ...1 cup
*Wheat flour ...1 cup
*Finely Chopped Jaggery ...2 cups
*Banana ..1
*Grated Coconut ..3/4 th cup
*Water ..1 cup
*Green Cardamom powder.. 1 teaspoon
Method...
*Grind from mixer Banana, Jaggery, Coconut, Green Cardamom Powder by adding water to a smooth paste.
*Pour this mix in a pan, mix Wheat flour and Semolina slowly without forming lumps.
*Let it rest for 15 minutes.
*Heat Appe pan , add Ghee...pour one teaspoon mix, drizzle with Ghee from all the sides, cover with the lid, remove the lid, flip the Appe and let it be crispy  from another side.
*Your sweet Appe are ready...
*They taste better when warm as well as cool.
*Here I have used Dry grated Coconut...you can use fresh coconut if wish so.

  Pakatil Purya... рдкाрдХाрддीрд▓ рдкुрд▒्рдпा It's a typical maharashtrian sweet dish... Very easy to prepare and delicious too. Ingredients... *Fine semolina...1 Cup  1 Cup...150 ml *Sugar .... 1 Cup  *Desi ghee in liquid form.... 2 tsp *Curd...1/2 Cup... approximately *Ghee...for deep frying *Green cardamom powder...1/4 tsp *Dry fruits Powder...2 tbsp... optional  Recipe...  *Add ghee in semolina and just pulse it from the mixer. Remove from the mixer and take it in a pan. *Make a dough by using curd only. Dough should not be too hard or too soft. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. *Now roll the dough into small Puri's. I have made bite size. *Deep fry Puri in ghee till light pink in colour. *You can store these by preparing it in a day in advance. *Take 1/2 cup sugar in a heavy base pan. Add 1/4 th Cup water. Put it on a gas on medium flame. *Let sugar dissolve and when it starts boiling reduce the gas flame. Let it boil for 3..4 minutes.  *Switch off the gas. Add 1/4 tsp green cardam
