Sabudana Khichadi
Sabudana khichdi is very tasty and yummy Dish generally prepared on Fast or Vrat Day.
This Khichdi when consumed with Curd  gives you energy, proteins and will fulfill yourself.
Though it is a Fast food or Vrat food it is also prepared on any other day at the breakfast .
Ingredients...
*Sabudana or Sago pearls... one cup
*Roasted Peanut Powder... Half cup
*Boiled and diced Potato ...1 cup
*Green Chillies ....3 no
*Red Chilli Powder... 1 tsp
*Clarified butter liquid form ....Four tablespoon
*Cumin seeds ...Half teaspoon
*Salt ...one teaspoon
*Sugar ...one teaspoon
*Lemon juice..2 teaspoon
*Chopped Coriander... one tablespoon
 *Grated Coconut ...one tablespoon
Method...
*Wash Sago  Pearls or Sabudana with water twice, drain out all the water ,add  water so much, such that it will just soak...and keep it for 5..6 hours.
*Mix roasted groundnut powder with Sabudana /Sago Pearls, all the pearls should be separate.
*Heat the pan , add liquid clarified butter in the pan.
*Add Cumin seeds, after this splutter add chopped green chillies and diced Potatoes.
*Saute for 2-3 minutes or if you like crispy potatoes let it be little pink.Add Red Chilli powder, mix properly.
*Add Sago Pearls mix.
*Mix properly and saute for 3 minutes.
*Cover with the lid, for 3 minutes.
*Remove the lid, mix properly, add lemon juice.
*Mix again. Switch off the gas.
Done.
*Serve by adding chopped coriander n grated coconut.
*Enjoy it with fresh homemade curd.

साबुदाणा खिचडी
आपल्याकडे उपवास किंवा व्रतवैकल्यात साबुदाणा खिचडी ही फराळाला खाल्ली जाते. अतिशय चविष्ट व चवदार असा हा प्रकार उपवास शिवाय इतर दिवशीही आपल्याला आवडतो.
साबुदाणा खिचडी जेव्हा पण दह्यासोबत खातो तेव्हा आपल्याला सगळ्या प्रकारचे प्रोटिन्स कार्बोहायड्रेटस पण मिळतात.
सगळ्यांना आवडणारी खिचडी.. ही म‌उ व लुसलुशीत तर असलीच पाहिजे पण एक एक दाणा मोकळा असला पाहिजे...
खुप ओला गच्च गोळा पण नको व कोरडी फडफडीत पण नको...
साहित्य ...
*साबुदाणा... एक वाटी
*दाण्याचे कूट ...अर्धी वाटी
*उकडलेल्या बटाट्याच्या फोडी ...एक वाटी *कोथिंबीर ...एक टेबलस्पून चिरून
*ओले नारळ किस ...एक टेबलस्पून
*साखर... एक टीस्पून
*मीठ... एक टीस्पून
*लाल तिखट... एक टीस्पून
*पातळ साजूक तूप ...चार टेबल स्पून
*जिरे... अर्धा टी स्पून
*हिरव्या मिरच्या... तीन
*लिंबू रस... दोन टीस्पून
कृती...
*साबुदाणा स्वच्छ दोनदा धुवून घ्या, व त्यात साबुदाणा भिजेल एवढे पाणी घालून भिजत ठेवा.
*एक तासाने साबुदाणा खालीवर करून घ्या, असा साबुदाणा पाच ते सहा तास भिजवून घ्या.
*नंतर त्यात अर्धी वाटी दाण्याचे कूट टाकून सर्व मिश्रण एकत्र करून घ्या.
*एका कढईत साजूक तूप तापवून, त्यात जिरे घाला ,जिरे तडतडल्यावर मिरच्यांचे तुकडे घालून
उकडलेल्या बटाट्याच्या फोडी घालून खमंग होईपर्यंत परतून घ्या. नंतर लाल तिखट घालून छान एकत्र करा.मग साबूदाणा शेंगदाण्याचे मिश्रण घालून एकत्र करा.
*नंतर त्यात साखर मीठ घालून झाकण ठेवून वाफ आणावी. अंदाजे ३..४  मिनिटे झाकून ठेवा.
*झाकण काढून लिंबू रस घालून छान मिक्स करा.
*गॅस बंद करा, खोबरे कीस व कोथिंबीर घालून सर्व्ह करा.
*सोबत घरी केलेले ताजं दही द्या.

  #RenuRasoi Chilli Garlic Shev No Soda  Very tasty and Crispy....  We used to have it only on Diwali...  But now you can prepare this at home very easily and enjoy it with a Cup of Tea or Coffee, as a accompaniment in snacks and meals....  We have not used soda or papad khar at all.  Ingredients...  * Cold water..1cup 1 Cup...150 ml  * Oil ... 1 cup  * Garlic paste..1 tsp  * Salt ... 2 tsp  * Red chili powder ... 3 tsp  *Chickpea flour ... 4 Cups... approximately  Method  * Add oil and water in mixer, whisk until it  turns frothy white in colour.  * Pour this water in a pot, add  red chilli powder, salt and garlic paste and mix properly.  *Add chickpea flour to make a soft dough.  * Hear I have used approximately four cups of gram flour.(1cup...150 ml)  * Fill this dough in the Shev mould. *Heat Oil in an iron kadhai, make a Shev by pressing from the mould in hot Oil.
