High in fiber, helps digestion, and keeps you full longer.   Ingredients *Broccoli florets – 1 cup *Broccoli stems (peeled & chopped) – 1/4 cup *Almonds – 10–12 *Onion (chopped) – 1/4 cup *Garlic – 4 pods *Milk – 1/2 cup *Water – 1 cup *Sugar – 1 tsp *Salt – 1/2 tsp *Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp *Homemade ghee – 2 tsp *Chopped almonds – For garnish Method *Chop the almonds. *Take a thick-bottom pan, add ghee and let it melt. *Add chopped onion and garlic, sprinkle a pinch of salt. Bharit Bhakari is a popular combination.... not only it tastes very yummy 😋😋... it's healthy too....
The month of October brings all these winter special vegetables...
We prepare Bharit in 3..4 ways.
This is the typical Onion Tomato Bharit...
Ingredients...
*Brinjal...big one... specially Green one... they are more tasty...500 gm's
*Tomatoes chopped...3
*Onions chopped...3
*Green Chillies chopped...3
*Coriander chopped...1/2 Cup
*Oil...5 tbspn
*Red Chilli Powder...1 tsp
*Turmeric Powder...1/4 tsp
*Salt...1 tsp
*Mustard Seeds...1/2 tsp
*Cumin seeds...1/4 tsp
*Fenugreek Seeds...7..8
Method...
*Roast the Brinjals on low flame till skin turns out Black & they are completely cooked. Cover immediately after roasting, it helps to peel quickly.
*When cools, remove the Peels & mash them properly.
*Heat Oil in a Kadhai, add Fenugreek, Mustard & Cumin Seeds, when they will splutter, add Green Chillies & Onions. Also add Turmeric Powder & saute till Onion turns out soft.
* Add chopped Tomatoes and Red Chilli Powder. Saute till Oil leaves the sides of the Pan.
*Add Salt n mashed Brinjals. Mix properly and cook for 3..4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
*Switch off the gas.
*Yummy & Tasty Bharit is ready.
*Goes very well with Bhakari or Roti.
Note...
You can use 5..6 Chillies & do not add Red Chilli Powder. This also tastes better.

वांग्याचे भरीत
पावसाळा संपून हिवाळा सुरू झाला की बाजारात सुंदर अशी ताजी  भरताची वांगी मिळायला लागतात.
भरीत आणि भाकरी हा सगळ्यांच्या आवडीचा मेनु😄
भरीत करताना आमच्याकडे आम्ही मोठी हिरव्या रंगाची वांगी आणतो कारण ती जास्त चवदार असतात.
भरीत आम्ही तीन चार प्रकारे बनवतो ,आजचे भरीत केले आहे ते कांदा टमाटा घालून परतून केलेले भरीत आहे.
आज मी हे भरीत बाजरीची भाकरी , परतलेला लसुण, दही व गूळ अशा सोबत सर्व्ह केला आहे.

साहित्य...
*भरताची वांगी 500 ग्रॅम
* लाल टमाटे 3
*कांदे मध्यम आकाराचे दोन
 *तीन हिरव्या मिरच्या
* पाच टेबलस्पून तेल
 *एक टीस्पून लाल तिखट
*पाव टीस्पून हळद
*एक टीस्पून मीठ
*अर्धा टीस्पून मोहरी
*पाव टीस्पून जिरे
*मेथी चे दाणे ७..८
*अर्धी वाटी कोथिंबीर
कृती...
*प्रथम वांगी मंद आचेवर खरपुस भाजुन घ्या आणि लगेच झाकून ठेवा असे केल्याने त्यांची साले पटकन निघून येतात
 *तोपर्यंत एकीकडे कांदे बारीक चिरून घ्या
* टमाटे बारीक चिरा ,हिरवी मिरची बारीक चिरा
*वांगी गार झाल्यावर त्याची साले काढून कुस्करून घ्या.
*एका कढईत तेल तापवून मेथी दाणे मोहरी व जिरे घाला तडतडून खमंग फोडणी झाली की हळद व मिरचीचे तुकडे घाला *कांदा घालून मऊ होईपर्यंत परता, मग त्यात तिखट लाल टमाटे घालून ते एकजीव होईपर्यंत परतून घ्या
*नंतर मीठ, वांग्याचा गर घालून तीन ते चार मिनिटे मंद आचेवर खमंग परता
*आपले भरीत तयार आहे
 * ज्वारी अथवा बाजरीची भाकरी गुळ, दाण्याची चटणी अशा सोबत आनंद घ्या.
टिप... तुम्ही हे भरीत, ५..६ हिरवी मिरची घालून करा, लाल तिखट घालू नका. वेगळी छान चव येते.
