#RenuRasoi  #Aluchi Vadi  #Steamed  #Colocasia #Leaf  #Snack Nowadays, during the monsoon season, very tender and small colocasia (arbi/taro) leaves are growing in my pot.  Since I had very little time today, I prepared this quick version of Aluchi Vadi.  It has the same delicious traditional taste but is much easier and faster to make. Ingredients (1 cup = 150 ml) *Washed & finely chopped colocasia (taro) leaves, – 2 cups *Tamarind – a lemon-sized piece *Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup *Rice flour – ½ cup *Red chilli powder – 3 teaspoons *Salt – 1½ teaspoons *Sugar – 1 teaspoon *Coriander powder – 3 teaspoons *Carom seeds (ajwain) – ¼ teaspoon *Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon *White sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon Method 1. Very easy to prepare in home .... tastes yummy n healthy...nice for dinner or lunch.
We like this little bit spicy...
All time favourite... specially in this Chilly weather...
Let's see the recipe...
Ingredients...
*Boiled Potatoes...3 medium
*Chopped Tomatoes...4 medium
*Chopped Onion... 1 medium
*Chopped Cabbage...2.5 Cup
*Green Peas...1 Cup
*Green Chillies...3 chopped
*Grated Ginger...1 tsp
*Garlic pods...4 chopped
*Home made Ghee/ Amul Butter...2 tbsp
*Red Chilly Powder...1 tsp
*Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder...1 tsp
*Pav bhaji masala...1 tbsp
*Salt...2 TSP
*Termeric Powder...1/4 tsp
Method....
*Add chopped Onions, Tomato, Cabbage, Green Chilli, Ginger and Garlic pods in a Pressure cooker.
Add 2 Cups water...let it cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.
*Let it cool, blend to a smooth paste with hand blender or from the mixer.
*Mash the boiled Potatoes.
*Heat Ghee in a Kadhai.
*Add Termeric Powder, both Red Chilly Powder, n Green Peas. Also add Salt n Pav Bhaji Masala.
*Let it cook till Peas are soft, add blended Vegetable and mashed Potatoes.
* Mix n saute on Medium flame for 5 minutes.
* Add water if necessary.
*Done.. switch off the gas.
*Serve hot with chopped Onions, Coriander, and roasted Pav.

पाव भाजी
पावभाजी  ची माझी पहिली आठवण म्हणजे मी पहिल्यांदा लहानपणी मुंबईत खाल्ली आणि जाम आवडली😋😋
  आणी तेंव्हापासून ही चटकदार भाजी फार आवडल्या मुळे  घरी पण करायला लागलो...
छोटेसे गेट-टुगेदर असेल ... चटपटीत मेनू करायचा असेल तर पाव भाजी एकदम सोपी आणि मस्त ...सगळ्यांनाच आवडते... पोटभरीचा पदार्थ 👌
आज आपण हा पदार्थ घरी कसा करायचा ते पाहूया...
साहित्य
*बटाटे ...उकडून घेतलेले 3 मध्यम
*टमाटे ...4 मध्यम चिरून
*पानकोबी चिरुन... 2.5 वाट्या
*कांदा चिरून ...1 मध्यम आकाराचा
*हिरवे मटार...1 वाटी
*हिरव्या मिरच्या...3 चिरून
*आले किसलेले... एक टीस्पून
*लसूण पाकळ्या ...चार
*साजूक तूप किंवा अमूल बटर... 2 टेबल स्पून
*लाल तिखट... 1 टिस्पुन
*काश्मिरी लाल तिखट... 1 टिस्पून
*मीठ... 1 टिस्पून
*पावभाजी मसाला...1 टेबलस्पून
*हळद...1/4 टिस्पून
कृती...
*एका कुकरमध्ये चिरलेला कांदा, पान कोबी, टमाटे, मिरची , आले किस, लसूण हे सगळे 2 वाट्या पाणी घालून ,मध्यम आचेवर 2शिट्ट्या होईपर्यंत शिजवून घ्या.
* गार झाल्यावर हँड ब्लेंडरने किंवा मिक्सरमध्ये वाटून घ्या.
*उकडलेले बटाटे कुस्करून घ्या.
*एका कढईत तूप किंवा लोणी तापवून त्याच्यात हळद, दोन्ही प्रकारचे तिखट, मीठ पावभाजी मसाला घाला, लगेच एक वाटी मटार दाणे घालून झाकण ठेवून मटार म‌उ होईपर्यंत परतून घ्या.
*उकडून वाटलेल्या भाज्या व बटाटे घालून चांगले एकत्र करून पाच मिनिटे परतून घ्या.
*गरज वाटल्यास थोडे पाणी घाला.
*गॅस बंद करून,  गरम गरम पावभाजी चिरलेला कांदा ,कोथिंबीर व खरपुस भाजलेल्या पावा सोबत सर्व्ह करा.
