Beetroot banana cutlet

These are very tasty and yummy cutlets.

You can prepare it as a starter, as a snacks, to carry in tiffin....

Can be prepared day before, refrigerate and fry next morning.


Ingredients 

1 cup... 150 ml

*Boiled and grated raw banana...2.5 Cup 

*Boiled and grated beetroot... 1/2 Cup 

*Finely chopped Onion... 3/4 Cup 

*Chopped green chilli...2 tbsp 

*Chopped ginger...1 tbspn 

*Garlic pods... 6

*Chopped coriander... 2 tbspn

*Chickpea flour...4 tbspn 

*Oil for roasting masala... 2 tbspn 

*Cumin seeds.... 1 tsp

*Turmeric powder... 1 tsp 

*Homemade garam masala... 1/2 tsp

*Salt... 2 tsp 

*Lemon juice... 2 tsp 

*Semolina for coating... 2 tbspn 

*Oil for frying... 5 tbspn


Method...

*Steam, peel and grate raw banana and beetroot. Measure it with 150 ml Cup.

You can pulse this mix from the mixer to remove lumps if any.

*Grind chopped green chilli, ginger and garlic without adding water.

*Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, turmeric powder and chopped onion. Also add grinded chilli garlic ginger paste. Roast on medium flame to remove rawness of the masala or oil releases.

*Add chickpea flour or besan. Saute all this on medium flame atleast for 3-4 minutes.

*Add salt and garam masala. Mix all ingredients properly. Switch off the gas.

*Add lemon juice, mix properly.

*Let it cool properly.

*Mix properly grated raw banana, beetroot, roasted besan mix masala and coriander.

*Divide in small lemon size balls. I have divided in 16 equal portions.

*Roll out in shape you like.

I have given droplets shape and bullets shape.

*Take semolina in a small plate, add pinch of turmeric and salt. Mix properly.

*Roll out all the cutlet s carefully in semolina.

*At this stage you can refrigerate and fry next morning for your breakfast.

*Heat oil in a pan, fry the cutlet carefully on medium to high flame. 

*Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.

*Enjoy with Tea or Bread and butter.

 हे अतिशय चवदार आणि स्वादिष्ट असे कटलेट आहेत.

 तुम्ही ते स्टार्टर किंवा स्नॅक्स म्हणून, टिफिनमध्ये नेण्यासाठी करू शकता....

 आपण आदल्या दिवशी तयारी करून फ्रिजमध्ये ठेवून शकतो, आणि दुसऱ्या दिवशी सकाळी तळून नाश्ता किंवा डब्यात देऊ शकतो.


 साहित्य 

 1 कप... 150 मिली

 *उकडलेले आणि किसलेले कच्चे केळे...2.5 कप 

 *उकडलेले आणि किसलेले बीट... 1/2 कप 

 *बारीक चिरलेला कांदा... 3/4  कप 

 *चिरलेली हिरवी मिरची...2 टेबलस्पून 

 *चिरलेले आले...1 टेबलस्पून 

 *लसूण पाकळ्या... 6

 * चिरलेली कोथिंबीर... 2 टेबलस्पून 

 *हरबरा डाळीचे/ बेसन पीठ...4 टेबलस्पून 

 * मसाला परतण्यासाठी तेल... 2 टेबलस्पून 

 *हळद ... 1 टीस्पून 

*जीरे... 1 टिस्पून

 *घरगुती गरम मसाला... 1/2 टीस्पून

 *मीठ... 2 टीस्पून 

 *लिंबाचा रस... 2 टीस्पून 

 * वरतून लावण्यासाठी रवा... 2 टेबलस्पून 

 *तळण्यासाठी तेल... 5 टेबलस्पून 


 पद्धत...

 *कच्ची केळी आणि बीटरूट वाफवून, सोलून किसून घ्या.  ते 150 मिली कपने मोजा.

 गुठळ्या असल्यास ते काढून टाकण्यासाठी तुम्ही हे मिश्रण मिक्सरमधून पल्स करू शकता.

 * पाणी न घालता चिरलेली हिरवी मिरची, आले आणि लसूण मिक्सर मधून वाटून घ्या.

 *कढईत २ चमचे तेल गरम करून त्यात जीरे ,हळद आणि चिरलेला कांदा घाला.  तसेच  मिरच्या लसूण आल्याचे वाटण घाला.  मसाल्यातील कच्चे पणा  जाईपर्यंत किंवा बाजूने तेल सुटेपर्यंत मध्यम आचेवर भाजून घ्या.

 * चण्याचे पीठ किंवा बेसन घाला.  हे सर्व मध्यम आचेवर किमान ३-४ मिनिटे परतावे.

 * मीठ आणि गरम मसाला घाला.  सर्व साहित्य व्यवस्थित मिसळा.  गॅस बंद करा.

 * लिंबाचा रस घाला, व्यवस्थितपणे एकत्र करा.

 * हे मिश्रण छान थंड होऊ द्या.

 * किसलेले कच्चे केळे, बीट, भाजलेले बेसन मिक्स मसाला आणि चिरलेली कोथिंबीर एकत्र करा.

 * लिंबाच्या आकाराचे छोटे गोळे करून घ्या.  मी 16 समान भागांमध्ये विभागले आहे.

 *आपल्या आवडीच्या आकारा चे  वळा.

 मी थेंबांचा आकार आणि छोटे रोल्स चा आकार दिला आहे.

 * एका छोट्या प्लेटमध्ये रवा घ्या, चिमूटभर हळद आणि मीठ घाला.  व्यवस्थित मिसळा.

 *सर्व कटलेट रव्यात काळजीपूर्वक घोळवून घ्या.

 *या टप्प्यावर तुम्ही फ्रिजमध्ये ठेवू शकता आणि दुसऱ्या दिवशी सकाळी तुमच्या न्याहारीसाठी तळू शकता.

 *कढईत तेल गरम करा, कटलेट मध्यम ते तेज आचेवर काळजीपूर्वक तळा. 

 * केचप किंवा हिरव्या चटणीसोबत गरमागरम सर्व्ह करा.

 * चहा किंवा ब्रेड आणि बटर सोबत आनंद घ्या.
