We need something warm to eat and drink.  Try this tasty and healthy easy to make Kokum Sar.... easy to prepare and yummy 😋  Kokum fruit is loaded with essential nutrients like magnesium, iron, zinc, calcium, vitamin B6, and potassium.  You can have it as a soup or as a accompaniment with Rice, Khichdi, Pulao... Ingredients... 1 Cup...150 ml or 1/2 Measuring cup  *Kokum Agal...कोकम आगळ...1 Cup *Water .... 6 Cups *Sugar or Jaggery... 6-7 tsp  *Green chillies... 2..cut in Big pieces  *Coriander chopped.... 1 tbspn *Ghee... melted... 1 tbspn  *Cumin seeds ... 1/2 tsp  *Salt... Small pinch  Method... *Heat a thick based stainless steel pan, add ghee and cumin seeds. Pakatil Purya... पाकातील पुऱ्या

It's a typical maharashtrian sweet dish... Very easy to prepare and delicious too.

Ingredients...

*Fine semolina...1 Cup 

1 Cup...150 ml

*Sugar .... 1 Cup 

*Desi ghee in liquid form.... 2 tsp

*Curd...1/2 Cup... approximately

*Ghee...for deep frying

*Green cardamom powder...1/4 tsp

*Dry fruits Powder...2 tbsp... optional 


Recipe... 

*Add ghee in semolina and just pulse it from the mixer. Remove from the mixer and take it in a pan.

*Make a dough by using curd only. Dough should not be too hard or too soft.

Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

*Now roll the dough into small Puri's.

I have made bite size.

*Deep fry Puri in ghee till light pink in colour. *You can store these by preparing it in a day in advance.

*Take 1/2 cup sugar in a heavy base pan. Add 1/4 th Cup water. Put it on a gas on medium flame.

*Let sugar dissolve and when it starts boiling reduce the gas flame. Let it boil for 3..4 minutes. 

*Switch off the gas. Add 1/4 tsp green cardamom powder.

*In this sugar syrup deep 2..3 already fried Puri's just for a minute. Take out from the syrup and arrange seperately in a plate.

In this way coat all Puri's with sugar syrup.

*Garnish with dry fruits Powder.

Ingredients... *Full fat milk... 1 litre *Vinegar... 2 tablespoons  *Water... 4 tablespoons. Method... *Mix vinegar and water. *Boil the milk in a pan. *When milk starts boiling add gradually this vinegar water mix and keep stirring with a spoon.  Take care to add this vinegar water mix spoon by spoon only. *When milk solid separates and yellowish water releases, immediately switch off the Gas.
