#RenuRasoi  #Aluchi Vadi  #Steamed  #Colocasia #Leaf  #Snack Nowadays, during the monsoon season, very tender and small colocasia (arbi/taro) leaves are growing in my pot.  Since I had very little time today, I prepared this quick version of Aluchi Vadi.  It has the same delicious traditional taste but is much easier and faster to make. Ingredients (1 cup = 150 ml) *Washed & finely chopped colocasia (taro) leaves, – 2 cups *Tamarind – a lemon-sized piece *Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup *Rice flour – ½ cup *Red chilli powder – 3 teaspoons *Salt – 1½ teaspoons *Sugar – 1 teaspoon *Coriander powder – 3 teaspoons *Carom seeds (ajwain) – ¼ teaspoon *Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon *White sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon Method 1. Dryfruit Roll

These Roll are very easy to prepare in home......

They are delicious and healthy too..... specially in winter.

Here we have not used Mixer for grinding dates, nor we have soaked them in water. 

Ingredients...

1 Cup.... 150 ml.

*Cashews.... 1/2 Cup

*Almonds.... 1/2 Cup

*Walnut.... 1/2 Cup

*Pistachio.... 1/2 Cup

*Seedless Dates/ Khajur... 2 Cup

*Homemade Ghee.... 1 tablespoon

*Poppy seeds... 1 tablespoon

Method....

*Crush Cashews, Almonds, Walnuts and Pistachio from the mixer roughly on pulse/ inch mode.

Crush each one seperately.

*Take care not to make a powder, they should be crunchy enough to chew. 

*Chopp the dates/khajur finely into tiny pieces,  with the help of knife.

*Heat Ghee in pan, add poppy seeds, after a minute add chopped Dates/Khajur, saute for a minute and immediately switch off the gas.

*Remove the pan from the Gas, with the help of the back of the spoon, or masher mash the dates till they become soft.

*Within 3..4 minutes it will become a  soft dough.

*Add crushed dry fruits, mix well.

*Divide in 4 equal parts, and make the rolls. Refrigerate these Roll for 30 minutes, take out of fridge.

*Slice them with the help of a knife.

Note....

*You can use any dryfruit of your choice. Make sure dryfruit and dates/ khajur should be in equal quantity.

*Saute dates/ khajur in ghee not more than 2 minutes, else they won't get mashed easily.

सुक्‍या मेव्याचे हे रोल घरी करायला सोपे आहेत...

चवीला फारच स्वादिष्ट पौष्टिक पण आहेत...

झटपट होणारी ही मिठाई तुमच्या घरातील सर्वांना फार आवडेल.

या रेसिपी मध्ये खजूर वाटण्यासाठी मिक्सर चा वापर अजिबात केला नाही.... तसेच पाण्यात पण भिजवले नाही आहेत.

 

 साहित्य ...

 1 वाटी.... 150 मि.ली.

 *काजू .... 1/2 वाटी

 *बदाम .... 1/2 वाटी

 *अक्रोड .... 1/2 वाटी

 *पिस्ता .... 1/2 वाटी

 *सीडलेस / बिन बियांचा खजूर ... 2 वाटी

 *साजूक तूप .... 1 टेबलस्पून

 *खसखस... 1 टेबलस्पून

 कृती....

 * मिक्सरमधून पल्स/ इंच मोड वर काजू, बदाम, अक्रोड आणि पिस्ता जाडसर भरडून घ्या. सगळा सुकामेवा वेग वेगळा भरडून घ्या.

 * बारीक पुड तयार होणार नाही याची काळजी घ्या, ते मोठे अर्धवट च असावेत. त्यामुळे चव छान येते.

 * सुरीच्या सहाय्याने खजूर बारीक चिरून घ्या.

 * कढईत तूप गरम करावे, खसखस ​​घाला, एक मिनिटानंतर चिरलेले खजूर घाला, एक मिनिट परतावा आणि लगेच गॅस बंद करा.

 * गॅस वरून कढ‌ई बाजूला काढून घ्या. लगेचच

मोठ्या चमच्याच्या मागील भागाच्या सहाय्याने किंवा मॅशर वापरून खजूर म‌ऊ एक जीव गोळा होईपर्यंत करून घ्या.

 *तीन चार मिनिटात छान मऊसर गोळा होतो, मग त्यात सुक्या मेव्याची भरड घालून छान एकत्रित गोळा करा.

 * 4 समान भागात विभागून रोल बनवा.  हे रोल 30 मिनिटे फ्रिजमध्ये ठेवा, फ्रीजमधून बाहेर काढा.

 * धारदार सुरीच्या सहाय्याने तुकडे कापून घ्या.

 टीप ....

 * तुम्ही तुमच्या आवडीनुसार सुकामेवा वापरू शकता.  सुकामेवा व खजूर समान प्रमाणात असले पाहिजेत.

 * खजूर तूपात २ मिनिटांपेक्षा जास्त परंतु नये  अन्यथा ते सहज मॅश/ म‌ऊ होणार नाहीत.
