#RenuRasoi  #Aluchi Vadi  #Steamed  #Colocasia #Leaf  #Snack Nowadays, during the monsoon season, very tender and small colocasia (arbi/taro) leaves are growing in my pot.  Since I had very little time today, I prepared this quick version of Aluchi Vadi.  It has the same delicious traditional taste but is much easier and faster to make. Ingredients (1 cup = 150 ml) *Washed & finely chopped colocasia (taro) leaves, – 2 cups *Tamarind – a lemon-sized piece *Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup *Rice flour – ½ cup *Red chilli powder – 3 teaspoons *Salt – 1½ teaspoons *Sugar – 1 teaspoon *Coriander powder – 3 teaspoons *Carom seeds (ajwain) – ¼ teaspoon *Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon *White sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon Method 1. Coconut Ladoo

Try these Delicious Ladoos when ever you are having craving for the sweet...

They are easy, quick n Yummy too....😋😋😋

Ingredients...

*Dessicated Coconut... 2 Cup

1 Cup...100ml

*Milk.. 2 Cup

*Sugar... 1/2 Cup .

*Cashew nuts Powder... 1 tbspn... optional

*Green Cardamom Powder...1/4 tsp

For rolling...

*Orange & Green food colour...less than a pinch... optional

*Dessicated Coconut...3/4 th Cup

Method...

*In a thick based Pan or Kadhai add Dessicated Coconut ,Milk and Sugar. Mix properly and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

* Now put this mix on Gas, on medium flame. Keep stirring, take care it should not stick to the bottom. 

*Cook till it becomes a soft sticky dough.

Check by rolling a small Ladoo.

It took me approximately 20 minutes. Switch off the Gas.

* Add Cashew  Powder, and green Cardamom Powder. Mix properly.

*Divide this in 3 equal parts.

In one part add little Orange colour, mix well.

In another part add little Green colour, mix well.

Third part should be white.

*Roll out small Ladoos and roll them in dessicated Coconut powder.

Note...1) You can adjust Sugar as per your requirement.

2) Refrigerate for longer shelf life.

Eat at Normal room temperature.

नारळाचे लाडू अतिशय झटपट होतात व सुमधूर लागतात. 

फार गोड नसल्यामुळे खायला पण मजा येते... 

साहित्य...

*डेसिकेटेड कोकोनट...2 वाटी 

1वाटी...200 मिली

*दूध... 2 वाटी

*साखर... 1/2 वाटी

*काजू पुड... 1 टेबलस्पून... ऐच्छिक

*वेलदोडे पूड... 1/4 टीस्पून

लाडू वळण्यासाठी

*डेसिकेटेड खोबरे कीस... 3/4 वाटी

*खायचा केशरी व हिरवा रंग... एका चिमूट पेक्षा कमी...ऐच्छिक

कृती...

*खोबरे कीस, दुध व साखर एका जाड बुडाच्या भांड्यात किंवा कढईत छान एकत्र करून 15 मिनिटे मुरत ठेवा.

* पंधरा मिनिटांनी गॅस वर मध्यम आचेवर ठेवून हलवत रहा. तळाला लागुन चिकटू नये याची काळजी घ्या.

* छान चिकट गोळा होईपर्यंत शिजवावे. मला अंदाजे 20 मिनिटे लागली. एक छोटीशी गोळी घेऊन लाडू वळुन पहा.

* गॅस बंद करून, त्यात काजू पुड व वेलची पूड घालून छान एकत्र करा.

* सारखे तीन भाग करून घ्या.

एका भागात अगदी थोडा खाण्याचा हिरवा रंग घालून छान एकत्र करा.

दुसऱ्या भागात अगदी थोडा खाण्याचा केशरी रंग घालून छान एकत्र करा.

तिसरा भाग पांढरा च राहू द्या.

*आता छोटे छोटे गोल लाडू वळून खोबरे किसात घोळुन घ्या.

*स्वादिष्ट म‌ऊ लुसलुशीत लाडुंचा आनंद घ्या.

टिप...

1) साखरेचे प्रमाण आपल्या आवडीनुसार जास्त घेऊ शकता.

2) फ्रीजमध्ये ठेवावे. खाताना आधी बाहेर काढून ठेवा.
