#RenuRasoi  #Aluchi Vadi  #Steamed  #Colocasia #Leaf  #Snack Nowadays, during the monsoon season, very tender and small colocasia (arbi/taro) leaves are growing in my pot.  Since I had very little time today, I prepared this quick version of Aluchi Vadi.  It has the same delicious traditional taste but is much easier and faster to make. Ingredients (1 cup = 150 ml) *Washed & finely chopped colocasia (taro) leaves, – 2 cups *Tamarind – a lemon-sized piece *Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup *Rice flour – ½ cup *Red chilli powder – 3 teaspoons *Salt – 1½ teaspoons *Sugar – 1 teaspoon *Coriander powder – 3 teaspoons *Carom seeds (ajwain) – ¼ teaspoon *Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon *White sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon Method 1. Andhra style preperation....very very yummy...
Easy to prepare from all easily available ingredients at home.
Ingredients...
*Tomato chopped.... 2 cups
1 Cup___200ml
*Split chickpea/ Chana dal... 1 tbspn
*Split blackgram/Udid dal... 1 tbspn
*Tamarind pulp... 1/2 tbspn
*Dry Red Chillies... 4..5
OR Red Chilli Powder... 2 tsp
*Salt... 1 tsp
*Cumin seeds... 1/2 tsp
*Oil for roasting... 3 tsp
*Garlic pods...2
*Turmeric powder... 1/4 tsp
For Tempering...
*Coconut oil... 4 tsp
*Mustard Seeds... 1/4 tsp
*Curry leaves... 5..6
Method...
*Heat Oil in a pan add split Chickpea and blackgram... roast on low flame till pink in colour.
*Add broken Red Chillies, Cumin seeds...saute for a minute.
*Add turmeric powder, chopped tomatoes, garlic pods, tamarind pulp, Salt. Cook till tomatoes are mushy.
*Switch off the Gas. Let it cool.
Grind from the Mixer without adding water.
*For Tempering...
Heat Oil, add Mustard Seeds, let it splutter. Switch off the gas, add curry leaves. Pour on Chutney and mix.
*Serve with Dal Rice, Idli, Dosa, Vada, Sandwiches.

 चमचमीत चवदार अशी ही चटणी रोज च्या जेवणात, इडली, डोसा, वडा, सँडविच कशासोबत ही मस्त लागते 😋😋😋😋😋

 घरात सहज उपलब्ध असलेल्या सर्व पदार्थांपासून केलेली...
 साहित्य ...
 * टोमॅटो चिरलेला ....2 वाटी
 1 वाटी___200 मिली
 *चणा डाळ ... 1 टेबलस्पून
 *उडीद डाळ ... 1 टेबलस्पून
 * चिंचेचा कोळ ... 1/2 टेबलस्पून
 * सुक्या लाल मिरच्या ... .5.
 किंवा लाल तिखट ... 2 टीस्पून
 * मीठ ... 1 टीस्पून
 * जिरे ... 1/2 टीस्पून
 * भाजण्यासाठी तेल ... 3 टीस्पून
 * लसूण पाकळ्या ... 2
 * हळद ... 1/4 टीस्पून
 फोडणीसाठी ...
 * नारळ तेल ... 4 टीस्पून
 * मोहरी  ... 1/4 टीस्पून
 * कढीपत्ता ... ...6
 कृती ...
 *कढईत तेल गरम करून त्यात हरबरा व उडीद डाळ घालून... गुलाबी होईपर्यंत मंद आचेवर भाजून घ्या.
 *सुकी लाल मिरची , जिरे घालून ... एक मिनिट परता.
 * हळद, चिरलेला टोमॅटो, लसूण पाकळ्या,  चिंचेचा कोळ, मीठ घाला.  टोमॅटो मऊ होईपर्यंत शिजवा.
 * गॅस बंद करा.  थंड होऊ द्या.
 पाणी न घालता मिक्सरमधून वाटून घ्या.
 * फोडणी साठी ...
 तेल गरम करून त्यात मोहरी घाला,  तडतडल्यावर  गॅस बंद करा, कढीपत्ता घाला.  चटणी वर घालून छान एकत्र करावे.
 * वरण भात, इडली, डोसा, वडा, सँडविचसह सर्व्ह करा.
