#RenuRasoi  #Aluchi Vadi  #Steamed  #Colocasia #Leaf  #Snack Nowadays, during the monsoon season, very tender and small colocasia (arbi/taro) leaves are growing in my pot.  Since I had very little time today, I prepared this quick version of Aluchi Vadi.  It has the same delicious traditional taste but is much easier and faster to make. Ingredients (1 cup = 150 ml) *Washed & finely chopped colocasia (taro) leaves, – 2 cups *Tamarind – a lemon-sized piece *Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup *Rice flour – ½ cup *Red chilli powder – 3 teaspoons *Salt – 1½ teaspoons *Sugar – 1 teaspoon *Coriander powder – 3 teaspoons *Carom seeds (ajwain) – ¼ teaspoon *Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon *White sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon Method 1. In chilly winters a nice bowl of soup gives you not only a warmth but makes you full filling also. ..
This soup is rich in fibre and no cornflour is used for thickening.
Yet it is very thick n tasty too...
Ingrediants
*Tomatoes ...4 medium
*Onion....1 small
*Potato... ..1 medium
*Beetroot... 2 tbsp chopped
*Carrot ...1 tb sp chopped. ..
*Butter / Home made Ghee...2 tsp
*Cinnamon Powder..1/4 tsp
*Cloves Powder...1/4 tsp
*Sugar...3 tsp
*Salt...1 tsp
*Black pepper powder...1/4 tsp
*Turmeric powder.... a pinch 
Method...
*Wash Tomatoes n chopp it roughly.
*Peel the Potatoes n slice it, chopp the Onions.
*In a cooker add 2 tsp Butter, add all chopped vegetables and  cloves, turmeric powder and cinamon powder.
*Saute, add 3 tsp Sugar, 1 tsp Salt...mix..add 1.5 cup Water.
*Give 2 pressure n cook on sim for 5 mts.
*Let it  cool. ..grind it in  the mixer.
*Add water as per your requirement.
*If you wish you can strain from the strainer. I have not strained it.
It tastes nice.
*Add freshly crushed  Black Pepper Powder.
*Give a nice boil.
*Serve hot with garnishing of fresh cream or Ghar ki Malai.

मस्त गुलाबी थंडी पडायला लागली आहे.
अशा वेळी गरमागरम सुप प्यायला मिळाले की मजा येते.
हे सुप पौष्टिक तर आहेच, पण चवदार 👌 व पोटभरीचे आहे.
आपण हे सुप  गाळून घेतले नाही, वा ह्यात काॅर्नफ्लोअर पण वापरलं नाही, त्यामुळे आरोग्य दायी आहे...
साहित्य...
*टमाटे.. चार मध्यम
*कांदा ...एक छोटा
*बटाटा.. एक मध्यम
*बीटरुट... चिरुन दोन टेबल स्पून
*गाजर ... चिरुन 1 टेबलस्पून
*कलमी / दालचिनी पूड...1/4 टी स्पून
*लवंग पूड...1/4 टी स्पून
*साखर... 3 टी स्पून
*मीठ...1 टी स्पून
*लोणी /साजूक तूप...2 टी स्पून
*काळी मिरी पूड...1/4 टी स्पून
*हळद.... चिमुटभर 
कृती...
*टमाटे स्वच्छ धुऊन चिरून घ्या.
*कांदा चिरून घ्या, बटाट्याची साले काढून पातळ चकत्या करा .
*एका कुकरमध्ये दोन टीस्पून तूप घाला व त्यात चिरलेले टमाटे ,कांदे-बटाटे , बीट व गाजर तसेच लवंग, हळद आणि दालचिनी पूड घाला.
*दोन-तीन मिनिटे परतून घ्या, तीन टीस्पून साखर , एक टीस्पून मीठ व 1.5 वाट्या पाणी घालून शिजवून घ्या.
*दोन शिट्टी झाल्यावर पाच मिनिटे मंद गॅसवर शिजवून घ्या.
*गार होऊ द्या आणि नंतर मिक्सरमध्ये वाटून घ्या.
*आपल्या आवडीनुसार हवे तेवढे पाणी घालून पातळ करून घ्या.
*तुम्ही हवं तर गाळून घ्या, मी हे गाळले नाही.
तसेच छान लागते.
*काळी मिरी पूड घालून छान उकळून घ्या.
*गरमागरम सुप ताजं क्रिम किंवा घरची साय फेटून सर्व्ह करा.
*फार चवदार  लागते.
