Ingrediants. ..
*Raw Kathal/ Jackfruit...500 gms *Onions chopped...1.5 Cup *Coriander Leaves chopped...1/2 Cup
*Grated ginger... 1 tsp
*Garlic pods...4
*Spicy Green chillies chopped. ..4 *Dry Coconut grated ...1/2 cup
*Seasame seeds  ... 1 tbsp
*Poppy Seeds...2 tsp
*Oil... 8 tbspn
*Salt... 1 tsp. ..
*Red Chilli Powder... 1 tsp
*Turmeric Powder... 1/2 tsp
*Mustard Seeds...1/2 tsp
Method. ..
*Chopp the Jackfruit in pieces,
pressure cook them by placing in container....do not add water in container... for 1 pressure.
*Dry roast the Coconut, Seasame Seeds n Poppy seeds. Grind them dry from the mixer.
*Grind together Onion... Green Chillies... Ginger... Coriander and Garlic without adding water.
*Heat the oil in a Pan. ..add Mustard seeds ...when it splutters add  Onion masala paste. ..saute on low flame till oil leaves the sides.
*Add Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder. . Salt & Jackfruit pieces ...mix properly... saute for 7..8 minutes on low flame.
*Add Coconut ,  Seasame & Poppy seeds powder. ..mix ...cook on slow flame till Oil leaves the sides of the pan.
*Done...
*Goes well with Hot Rotis..or Jira Rice n kadhi...

आमच्याकडे ही भाजी फक्त सुकी च आवडते. मला तर ही भाजी इतकी आवडते की  आत्ता लिहिताना सुद्धा तोंडाला पाणी सुटले आहे अतिशय अप्रतिम लागते....
ही भाजी पोळी व भाकरीसोबत तर  छान लागतेच पण जीरा भात ‌...कढी... व ही भाजी अगदी पार्टीला सुद्धा चालू शकेल...
साहित्य...
*कोवळा ताजा फणस... अर्धा किलो
*कांदे चिरून... दीड वाटी
*कोथिंबीर चिरुन... अर्धी वाटी
*हिरवी मिरची चिरून... 4
*आले किसलेले... एक टिस्पून
*लसूण पाकळ्या...4
*सुक्या खोबऱ्याचा कीस... अर्धी वाटी
*तिळ ...1 टेबलस्पून
*खसखस... एक टिस्पून
*लाल तिखट... एक टिस्पून
*हळद....1/2 टिस्पून
*मीठ...1 टिस्पून
*तेल...8 टेबलस्पून
*मोहरी...1/2 टिस्पून
कृती...
*फणस चिरून घ्या...व कुकरमध्ये एका डब्यातत ठेवून... एक शिट्टी होईपर्यंत शिजवून घ्या.... फक्त कुकरमध्ये तळाला पाणी घाला... डब्यात नका घालू...
*खोबरे...तिळ.. खसखस भाजून मिक्सरमध्ये पूड करून घ्या.
*कांदा ...कोथिंबीर... मिरची... आले... लसुण मिक्सर मध्ये पाणी न घालता वाटून घ्या.
*एका कढईत तेल गरम करून मोहरी घाला, मोहरी तडतडल्यावर कांद्याचे वाटण घालून मंद आचेवर बाजूनी तेल सुटेपर्यंत परतून घ्या
*मग त्यात हळद... तिखट व मीठ घालून छान एकत्र करा, नंतर वाफवलेल्या फणसाच्या फोडी घालून एकत्र करा व मंद आचेवर सात-आठ मिनिटे परतत रहा.
*नंतर खोबरे...तिळ.. खसखस चे वाटण घाला छान एकत्र करून मंद आचेवर बाजूनी तेल सुटेपर्यंत परतून घ्या.
*ही भाजी अतिशय अप्रतिम लागते.
