Since I had very little time today, I prepared this quick version of Aluchi Vadi. It has the same delicious traditional taste but is much easier and faster to make. Sweet Corn Appe
Appe are always tasty n Yummy.
This is the quick method to prepare Appe. Healthy too...it contains Protein, Carbohydrates n lots of Veggies besides Curd.
I was having sour Curd, so this Yummmm Breakfast for today.
Here I have served with Carrot Chutney.

Ingredients....
*Semolina... 1 Cup
*Split Yellow Moong Dal... 1 Cup
*Sweet Corn...1 Cup
*Onion chopped...1 Cup
*Coriander chopped...1 tablespoon
*Green Chillies chopped finely
...5
*Grated Ginger...1.5 TSP
*Black Pepper Powder...1tsp
*Salt...1 TSP
*Sour Curd...1 Cup
*Water... 2 Cups
*Oil...for frying
Method...
*Grind Split Yellow Moong Dal from the mixer to a coarse Powder.
*Mix Semolina, Moong Dal Powder n all ingredients except Curd n Water.
*Mix it well.
*Add sour Curd n Water slowly without forming lumps.
*Keep this batter aside for one hour.
*Heat the Appe pan, grease it with Oil, pour 2tsp batter in each mould.
*Drizzle with Oil, cover with the lid.
*After 2 minutes lift the lid, flip Appe
Carefully with the help of knife.
*Let it roast from another side too, by using little oil.
*No need to cover again.
*Done.
*Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.
