#RenuRasoi  #Aluchi Vadi  #Steamed  #Colocasia #Leaf  #Snack Nowadays, during the monsoon season, very tender and small colocasia (arbi/taro) leaves are growing in my pot.  Since I had very little time today, I prepared this quick version of Aluchi Vadi.  It has the same delicious traditional taste but is much easier and faster to make. Ingredients (1 cup = 150 ml) *Washed & finely chopped colocasia (taro) leaves, – 2 cups *Tamarind – a lemon-sized piece *Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup *Rice flour – ½ cup *Red chilli powder – 3 teaspoons *Salt – 1½ teaspoons *Sugar – 1 teaspoon *Coriander powder – 3 teaspoons *Carom seeds (ajwain) – ¼ teaspoon *Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon *White sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon Method 1. Bharva Mirachi
This is the excellent side dish ....or Accompaniment in our meals. Can be stored in Refrigerator for 2..3 days.
Ingredients....
•Big Green Mirachi /Chillies 250 grams
•Chickpea flour 1 Cup
1 cup... 150 ml 
•Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
•Asafietida Powder 1/4 tsp
 •Salt 1/2 tsp
 •Red Chilly Powder 1tsp
•Lemon juice 3 tsp
•Sugar 1 tsp
•Nigella seeds1/4 tsp
•Ani seeds 1/4 tsp
•Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
•Oil 2 tbspn for roasting Chickpea flour.
For frying... 4 tbspn
Method....
•Dry roast Chickpea flour on low flame till aroma releases
•Keep it aside
•Heat 2 tbspn Oil in a pan...add Cumin seeds, Ani seeds n Nigella seeds...add Turmeric n Asafoetida Powder
•Add Red ChillyPowder n roasted Chickpea flour...
•Saute for 2..3 mts...add Salt, Sugar n Lemon Juice
 •Switch off the gas...mix all properly...let it cool...
•Wash n slit the Green Chillies keeping two ends intact
•Stuff the above masala mix in the Chillies carefully but firmly.
•Heat 4 tbspn Oil in a pan... arrange all stuffed Chillies
• Cook on low flame turning in between..
•Add leftover Masala mix n sprinkle 2 tsp Water...cover with the lid for 2 minutes...
Done...
Goes well with Dal Rice n Roti...

भरली मिरची
सध्या बाजारात छान टपोऱ्या भावनगरी मिरची मिळत आहेत.
बेसन भरून केलेल्या ह्या मिरच्या प्रथिने म्हणजे प्रोटिन्स तर देतातच व चवदार आणि खमंग लागतात.
साहित्य...
•जाड मोठ्या मिरच्या 250 ग्रॅम्स
•बेसन/ चणा डाळ पीठ 1 वाटी
1 वाटी...150 मिली.
•हिंग 1/4 tsp
•हळद 1/4 tsp
•तिखट 1 tsp
•मीठ 1/2 tsp
•लिंबूरस 3 tsp
•साखर 1 tsp
•कलौंजी 1/4 tsp
•बडीशोप 1/4 tsp
•जिरे 1/4 tsp
•तेल 6 tbspn
कृती..
•बेसन कोरडेच मंद आचेवर सुगंध येईपर्यंत भाजून घ्या.
•एका कढईत 2 tbspn तेल तापवा, त्यात जिरे,शोप व
कलौंजी घालून फोडणी करा.
•हळद, हिंग, लाल तिखट व बेसन घालून 2,3 मिनिटे परतून घ्या.
•मीठ,साखर व लिंबू रस घालून मिक्स करा, गॅस बंद करा.
•मिरची स्वच्छ धुवून मध्ये चिर द्या.
•त्यात वरील मसाला हलक्या हाताने पण घट्ट भरा.
•एका कढईत 4 tbspn तेल तापवा, भरल्या मिरच्या ठेवून घ्या.
•मंद आचेवर परतून छान गुलाबी रंग आला की उरलेला मसाला घाला, 2 tsp पाणी शिंपडून एक वाफ येऊ द्या.
•चवदार मिरची खाण्यास तयार.
पोळी, वरण भात कशा सोबत पण छान लागते.
फ्रिज मध्ये 3,4 दिवस टिकतात.
